In fact, the corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipes is good because a purified film is formed on the surface. In nature, it exists in the form of a more stable oxide. However, although the stainless steel pipes have different oxidation levels according to different usage conditions, they are eventually oxidized. This phenomenon is usually called corrosion. In order to extend the service life of stainless steel pipes, we have summarized the following points regarding the classification and measures of possible corrosion phenomena of stainless steel pipes:
1. Cleaning method
When cleaning the surface of the stainless steel pipe, care must be taken not to cause surface scratches, avoid the use of bleaching ingredients and abrasives, washing liquid, steel balls, abrasive tools, etc. In order to remove the washing liquid, rinse the surface with clean water after washing.
2. How to deal with dust
Dust on the surface of the stainless steel pipe and easy to remove dirt can be washed with water or soap and weak detergent. The binder component is scrubbed with alcohol or organic solvents (ether, benzene).
3. Grease
The grease and oil on the surface of the stainless steel pipe are contaminated. After cleaning with a soft cloth, wash with a neutral detergent or ammonia solution or with a special detergent.
4. Attach rust
The rust caused by the dirt on the surface of the stainless steel pipe can be removed with the common anti-rust paste on the market, and then cleaned with clean water or weak alkaline soap water.
